Fun Day

This is a small painting, A4 size-- an attempt at figurative painting...But now I think i should have painted on  a bigger surface.Painting the face was tough as I had to squint to see what I was doing!Or was it my eyesight?!!
It was a photo of my son, on a sunny day in the park with his football.

It's a very nice portrait, Arti! Like you, I feel better at making full portraits on great size sheets... I think it is a need related to the subject, the need to have enough space for the face and body ... or at least it works so for me!

What an awesome composition, Arti! As always, you painted this gorgeously. The sunlight reflected on your son's skin was masterfully handled!
