A sunny smile

Another attempt at oils....I took its refrence from a photo of a brilliant Russsian photographer .But its not a copy, just an interpretation.I hope I am not violating any copyrights here!....You can check her out at --http://mechtaniya.deviantart.com/gallery/#_featured--2

I wanted to capture the innocence of childhood combined with the purity and freshness of Nature. Thats why I added alll these sunflowers around her. Its upto you all to tell me if i have succeeded in my humble attempt!

  2. yeah pretty..and too colorful...like you have filled her life with colors..it might be strange...but i kinda wanted it to see in black and white...someday will you try a painting just in black and white paints..want to see as how you do it. but nice one,

  3. Thanks Poorva... and thanks Manisha.you know, I had been planning to convert this girl into a black and white sketch!Than I changed my mind and painted her in vivid colors..but the sketch is not out of my head yet:)haven't really thought about B&W paintng really...but who knows...
