A Day's Wait

I am not sure if this one qualifies as 'self portrait', but its me!The photo was taken by my husband when I wasn't looking- but  liked it when I saw it later.I have tried my hand at bigger workspace this time and it wasn't so hard, after all!

  1. This is mesmerizing, Arti. I keep looking and marveling. The greens and blues of what I suspect are trees or bushes, the lighter spots on your shirt and hair (sunlight splotches), your hair style itself, the pattern and colors of the shirt...A truly great watercolor!

  2. Nice work.. Actually I liked the background a lot.
I find it a little difficult to work on bigger size. One has to constantly get up to keep seeing the painting from far when working on a larger size, which I do not like. :). Smaller ones can be held at the stretch of an arm and viewed while painting. But bigger ones do help me overcome my laziness.

Even without seeing the face I knew immediatly it was You. I think is unusual and very good with a fantastic play of lights. :)
