Pretty Picture

I have been a little busy with life in past two weeks or so..not been able to paint at all. Posting here today is  a sketch I did sometime ago, and was not so happy about --(it didn't come out as I had wanted)
But it might inspire me to paint again, I hope!
Have  a Great Day!

  4. I think it is gorgeous, Arti! I so love all your portraits. In fact, I've been inspired by you to try one of my own. I so love watercolors but it seems when it comes to portraits, I just don't have the technical know how to do them justice. Still...I'm not sure I have to throw this piece away just yet. Maybe new eyes tonight will decide I must trash it, but not quite yet. I always find your art inspirational!

  9. @Sherry, even I never had the 'technical know how' of doing water colors. It was alwyas trial method for me.Doing something over and over again lets you find out the rights and wrongs yourself!Every artist has his own style of painting portraits..there is no individual technique working here :)You can do what you feel is right!

  10. Arti I think it's beautiful!! Lovely expression and such nice fresh colors. I feel like most of my paintings don't turn out the way I wanted, so I end up liking them in a different way (hopefully, unless I really hate it!). Hope you get back to painting soon! :)
