Pristine_Portrait of a Little Girl

A leisurely Sunday, I had some time to spend with my paper and colors,finally!This cute little girl is painted from a photo of Vikram, my photographer friend.I have tried to paint in two sittings, this one- instead of my usual 'at one go' style..

    The portrait is handled so well. I do like the handling of the shadows around the mouth, the use of color in the shadowed areas works very well.

    Thanks Tony, this girl had beautiful light coming from a side s well as some reflection from the back, so I was careful about the shadows :)
