The painting I have been working on recently.Horses are my second favorite subject after people.I guess it because of huge possibilities and potential. One can dabble endlessly on them and they still look good!:)
I am not sure if this painting will go for better or worse from here.....wait and see!
Watercolor on 14"x10" cold pressed Langton Block. I liked these gummed pads as they provide ready to use surface, without any fuss of stretching the paper first.

Beautiful portrayal of colours blending together! The red in the backgroud just enhances the subject! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the flow of colors.
ReplyDeleteGreat portraits. The liquid feel and colors work so well.
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous Arti...one day I will try to paint them, they are my favourite subject too mainly becuse of their form and rich colours.
ReplyDeleteSO beautiful Arti! That liquid look really adds to their power. :)
ReplyDeleteI loved this.. All that almost restless looking patches of color give a great feel of energy which seems hidden behind those calm eyes.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful portrait of these two horses, Arti. The colors are brilliant..love this one.
ReplyDeleteYour watercolors have gotten so much more fluid and are absolutely stunning, Arti. No matter how you approach them, I've been loving your work for years now.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, you have been so supportive!
