Self Portrait

I was not really serious when I started this, but it looked decent enough to share in the end....It was painted in Raw Sienna ( I spent half of my tube!) Each color behaves in a different manner. So I guess there will be more studies, each in different color. It would be a good exercise, don't you think?

  1. Arti I wouldn't say this looked decent, I would say it looks 'superb'. Great idea about working with just one colour and yes each colour has it's own characteristics like people. Definitely a fab idea of yours to get to grips with each colour especially the yellows as they are the hardest to get tonal difference with. Now you have got me thinking... :-)

    1. Thank you Laura! You have encouraged me enough to go for it!It a great way to know your colors, especially for impatient people like mewho otherwise don't bother to look at labels while painting!
