In Sweet Memory...

                                                         20x16  Soft Pastel on Pastelmat
As mentioned in my earlier posts, this is Lala; a friend and a colleague of my husband and a fan of my art. She passed away this Christmas eve.I painted this in her memory. My husband gave it to her father yesterday.I hope her family finds solace in it.
She was a wonderful person , a sweet soul.I will always remember her.

  6. It's really sad what happened, and so sweet of you to give to the parents a beautiful painting and remembrance. My parents passed away - yes, both - 3 years ago. Just recently I could see their pictures again, cause seeing them and not being able to share words, hugs and smiles did hurt a lot, and still does. Since then, life lost a lot of meaning to me. I try to be always out of my city, so that I'm always planning trips to forget what happen, smiling at the camera in the several places I go, all just fake. It's impossible to forget. I think you really touched her family, they must be so happy for having her in the first place and then having friends that loved her so much. You are a great artist, by the way! denisesplanet com
