The Owl

A new work, completed this morning.A favorite combination of mine--Cobalt Blue, Burnt Umber and Burnt Orange( by Daniel Smith ;which is fast becoming my favorite color) with just a hint of Yellow Ocher.
He is larger than life, about 15"x12"

  1. Very beautiful bird painting !!!
The very well painted eyes seems to glow in the dark for the hunting mice and other rodents, helping to maintain a balance in nature.
Thank again Arti, for your very kind comments to my paintings, every time you have the way to give me encouragement to continue my work.

  2. Arti, you have been so busy! Thank you so much for writing to me. I was recreating my blog roll from memory and I missed a couple, including your own. I am so sorry I did because look at all these gorgeous animals you've painted!! Each and every one is stunning.

Thank you too for your worrying for me. As I always do, I will come out the other side just fine. I'm kind of excited even for the new start heading my way. M and I are very amicable so it is all good. Now...if we just could get that income coming in again we can get the ball rolling.
