I painted this Goldfinch , inspired by photographs by my blogger friend,
Fred Walsh. This is the first time I painted a bird! They also have character, you know.... It might take some more attempts to get those birds right.( The flowers were much more work!) But they are beautiful; aren't they?

ReplyDeleteHey Liz, I wanted much more detail in those tiny flowers but got a bit lazy at the end!...white flowers are tough nuts to crack!
