Sea Turtle

After yellow, I have turned to blue.I was trying to find new subjects, and a sea turtle in its aqua habitat looked like a good subject!..I have used white oil pastel to keep all those lines on his skin..it also gives some texture to it.
Due to some family obligations, I haven't been painting much lately...and the trend will continue for some more time; but I sure miss you all, and will be back as soon as I can manage!Till then , Happy Painting!

  6. Nice colours and perfect drawing. You have handled those limbs very nicely and delicately.

  7. The first thing I noticed is the bold use of blue. I would be scared to put so much of blue like this. And I also liked the use of oil pastels. Makes the job so much easier.

  12. Your painting if blown up would come alive. It looks so real. I loved the spring is here painting. My 13 year old daughter is also a good artist and so is my 11 year old son. She was in awe of your sketches and paintings.
