I am So Happy!

This is Honey, the bubbly daughter of a friend...two sittings, four hours. It was an outdoor photo with direct sunlight falling over her head. The shades on her face were quite tough to capture-but I have tried my best!

  3. How did you get a little girl to sit still for so long? Your painting looks good. You did a great job on the eyes and the hair, especially. I'm finding out first hand how difficult it is to paint people as I'm working on a portrait of a young girl, too.

Michelle, it was done from a photo-...by 'two sittings'I meant I did it in two sessions.I don't think it would have been possible for the child to pose for that long!Even my son doesn't agree to do it for me :)
