Two drawings from my little sketchbook that I carry around.Top one was of a gentleman who was busy reading his papers at the library this morning-as I sat behind him with my own books...(A clothed figure- for a change; as I missed my Monday drawing session this week :))
Second one is a bit older...I did it sitting at a picnic table in our neighbourhood park while the sun was still shining. An elderly couple, enjoying the sun and having their snacks at the bench nearby.Later I used ink pen and brush on the drawing.
Wonderful sketches Arti! I love seeing this little slice of life. :)
ReplyDeleteI like this kind of sketching. It creates better memories than the photos copied later.
ReplyDeleteWonderful drawings, Arti!!
ReplyDeleteHi Arti,
ReplyDeleteYour top sketch reminds me of the sketches I did when I was in lectures, supposedly listening to "fascinating" words about dentistry!!!
I love seeing sketchbooks of others.. It is always much more interesting than paintings. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Crystal..'Slices of life' -a nice title for these images! :)
ReplyDeleteTony I have recently started doing this kind of sketches and I am loving it.

ReplyDeleteKathryn, I can imagine you doodling during a serious lecture! I actually gave this sketch to this gentleman after I finished and took the picture from my phone camera. He was rather taken aback!
