Life Drawing Study

Nothing much happening right now...got issued the "Life Drawing Class" by Lucy Watson from the library for study purpose, A good one.This drawing was done from a photograph from the book.I have used pastel pencil and conte on black craft paper.Limited palette.

  1. I think you should draw traditional india and its culture. No offence but i don,t believe in modern art. Its not complete art.

Hello Mani, These life drawings are a very important part of being an artist.I do these to be able to understand and draw the human form correctly- it has nothing to do with culture or nationality.In my opinion, art should not be limited or restricted to a place/thought/style...it's all about learning and expanding your horizon as an artist and a person.
