I could have called it "A Figment of My Imagination" also! Its a small landscape, my baby steps- you could say. I started with the sky. Then added the horizon line and a little house with some green dropped in wet in wet. As I worked the horizontal line turned into a nice slope, makes it all more interesting. What do you think?

I like it a lot. It's great... The shadows are worked out very well.

DeleteGorgeous work that is not a figment of my imagination. Beautiful talent here.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Laura.
Deletegood attempt. sky has turned out well.In landscape composition is vital part. You may have to look at that aspect . e.g. the small house is at extreme right almost going out of frame. move that to left a bit and it will improve composition.
ReplyDeleteAjay you are right, the house is actually put in the wrong place.I put the house first and the surroundings later-after finishing the painting I realized that it should have been in front rather than back....I will sketch before painting next time :)
ReplyDeleteI think it is wonderful, Arti. I like the house just where you have it. Makes it feel like a secret piece of paradise, one that I want to walk to. But then you know how I always love your work!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sherry, it looks like a piece of paradise to me,too
