14x11
Last night's effort.Tried a loose approach, working wet in wet- losing and finding some edges.I like the results so I might work more on this technique :)
The herd of elephants usually consists of mother elephants with their babies...usually in 8-10 in number. However I had the biggest paper in 14x11 size so I had to reduce the number!!But they still look like a herd, don't they?
Have a great Sunday.
Yes, they do look like a herd! And I might add a quite beautiful painting, Arti!
ReplyDeleteAn experiment gone well I guess :)
DeleteYes, definitely a herd. Great painting
ReplyDeleteTrying to create some movement in this painting.I would have loved to paint more of them in the frame but the paper I had could hold only as many :)
DeleteAmazing what a few faces and a great background can imply. Like this latest series.
ReplyDeleteYes Tony I am definitely going to work more on this style...
Deletei am so enjoying your parade of pacaderms.! (can't spell it but it sounded good in my head. ) Love them!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Suz; do you know I intended to use the word 'parade' in the title originally! Great minds think alike..LOL
