Its tough to come up with names for them now; I have painted so many! This one is in muted tones- sepia, gold and raw umber mainly.Another study before I started on a bigger commission. It was good to take a break from the usual color scheme and try something new. I refrained from using blue, turquoise and purple in this one.
You can never paint enough of these elephants, Arti.!! They are all so different...I love this amber elephant...just beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteYes I don't think so either, Hilda.May be experiment more with color for the sake of variety!
DeleteA very rewarding place to be in. Maybe time for numbers after the names liked best?
ReplyDeleteI tried numbers once, Tony.I didn't like them.
DeleteI want to be able to remember my artworks by name, numbers make them all look alike :) I will have to create a database of names, I guess!
Amber is a good name for her. She's quite demure. You just stare into her eyes and she tells you her name.
ReplyDeleteWow you made her look even more beautiful with that description, Julie. Thanks!
DeleteYou're welcome. You give me art and I give you words. I have to thank you, Arti. Sometimes whole stories come up from your paintings.

DeleteOh but that bid of red...and blue...just brings this piece to a gorgeous finish, Arti! Stunning work!
