Last evening's work.Horses are such magnificent animals- powerful, yet gentle; a joy to paint.

Mates

 "Mates" completed.But as I said earlier, I don't know if its better or worse :) I let the first layer dry for a day before working more all over the painting.It was scary... I was afraid of spoiling it all, yet I wanted to finish it.
So, here it is- a bit darker than I would have liked but not bad...what do you think?
