Red, Green and Violet

In my opinion, its some variety of coleus plant. The one that I am having at my home is red with narrow green edges. This one is more green. But one thing is for sure, I love this plant! It has most beautiful leaves I have ever seen.
This is perhaps my first serious attempt at leaves, and it was intimidating..Leaves are tough creatures to handle and I am yet to be friends wih them:)
I was contemplating whether it was good enough to post, than I decided to leave the judgement to you!

  2. It is just lovely, Arti. I do love the colors you've used. And I think the size is good. I'll bet it is very impressive when one can see it in person.

  9. Good enough! I find it interesting that you have these leaves, another blogger I follow had something similar and I have one started very similar! Maybe we were all inspired by the interesting colors and texture of the leaves??? (Or is it something in the air!!!!)

  10. Thank you, friends.frankly, I was not very happy with this one- it didn't come out as good as I had expected it to be! But I am glad all of you found time to see and appreciate the effort. This is what keeps me going! I think i will paint the leaves in oils this time, to get more striking colors!
