The Gathering

Watercolor, 10"x 8"
After a few blissful weeks, I have started coughing again. The GP seems clueless, she has now referred me to the specialist- I just have to wait for the next appointment.Did not want to burden you all with my health issues, folks, but I did just that ;) My apologies.
Anyway since I have nothing better to do I forced myself to finish this piece this morning.Have you noticed, how quickly you fall out of groove when you stop painting even for a few days?I had to throw away two sheets of paper before I completed this- but I am happy that I finally was able to tame this small gathering of goats! Thanks to Mary R Vogt for this beautiful picture.

  1. It's "very" easy falling out of the groove when you stop painting.! I think it happens to all of us. However, you produced a beautiful watercolor, Arti.! I love the colors in these goats!.. and
I'm glad you're going to a specialist...I wonder whether or not it could be allergies!! take care,my friend!!

    1. That is SO true.Once I got into the 'groove' it all came back!As for my health, all they are saying is that its some kind of inflammation...I am hoping they find the cause so that it can be treated. Thanks you for being there, Hilda.I have been feeling rather low past whole week and did not visit any blogs- I hope you all are well.

    1. Thank you for being such a great friend, Kathryn...I do hope to get well soon-just raring to go!...Usually I paint single subjects, it was fun assembling so many of them together and working on each of them simultaneously.Glad it came out well.

  7. Oh Arti I hope you get feeling better soon, hopefully this doctor will be able to help. I love your goats and your bunny! SO colorful and alive. Very nice! We took my son to visit some goats that looked just like this when he was little and he called them 'puppy goats' for their long floppy ears. :D
