Bailey

This one was my favourite, labour of love - you could say. There was a lot f dry brushing over the initial looser layer but the end result was satisfactory.Glad to say that it has found a home now!

Farm Animals

BILLY

"BLUEBELL"
14''x10''

Both of these do seem a bit too purple...well, looks like I got carried away with a new Daniel Smith shade Lunar Violet..especially with Bluebell! I need to work a bit more with the color to get the hang of it.In the Donkey painting I have used Quinacridone Magenta (Daniel Smith) with French UM Blue and burnt orange. This Magenta is the richest color in my paint box..I love it. Add it to DS Moonglow or simply any blue of your choice to get brilliant shades of purple :)

'Hayday' Donkey Portrait

9x12
A slight deviation, but we are still in the same company! I love these peace loving, cute animals. This one I saw in a local farm sometime ago.I have painted the background this time...do they look better on white or with a background..whats the vote?

Donkey's Ears

11" x14"
I had n't touched my watercolors for  many, many days. What could be better for getting back into the mode -- my favorite subject- animals! With them I don't have to worry much about accuracy of color and facial features and can play around as much as I want....this makes the exercise more fun :) Also need to populate the Etsy shop for coming season. So here goes...

P.S:  This cutie has already been sold!
